About Me
Student - Philanthropist - Ballet Dancer - Black Belt Martial Artist - Baker

Some good things do come from quarantine!
With a little extra time Shaila was ready to get her hands dirty. Her parents encouraged her to do what she loves... and that was baking and being creative.
Shaila's Sweets was a result of her baking creativity and desire to help the community. With so many people affected by the pandemic, her thought was "Maybe I can sell cookies to help people". At that point, Shaila's Sweets was born. From the beginning , a major percentage of all Shaila's Sweets sales go to local charities including the McHenry House Tracy Family Shelter , California Highway Patrol Toy Drives and other local schools and charities.
Shaila is always thinking of new ideas for her cookies. Her seasonal flavors include Pecan Pie cookies, Pumpkin Snickerdoodle, Key Lime cookies, Golden Kiss NYE cookies, kid's favorite - Birthday Cake, M&M, and so many more. Her signature cookie and customer favorite is the Shaila's Sweets Chocolate Chip Cookie made with her secret recipe. You have to check out what everyone in Mountain House is raving about!
A top priority for Shaila has always been the betterment of the community around her. She has led anti-bullying campaigns at her school and been published in a national leadership magazine for young adults.
When Shaila is not baking or coming up with new cookie ideas, this young mind thinks big and puts actions to her ideas. While she spends most of her time in her studies, consistently landing on the superintendent's honor roll, Shaila has also committed time and effort in the areas of performing arts where she is a Pointe Shoe Ballet Dancer and Martial Artist where she has earned a Black Belt at American Top Team and currently working on her Second Degree.
